Pretending ( Glee Version ) story

Genre: romance

           There’s a girl, whose eyes once shone bright in colours and everywhere she goes happy aura seems to always surround her. She brought cheerfulness to her friends and families. She was a girl filled with hope, a girl who believed in happy endings and a girl who thinks love is the greatest.

          There’s a boy, who thinks that love beat them all. Whatever future he might choose and whatever things that might bring him down, he had always believe if his lover will be there, he’ll make it through despite what it is. He was always showing his love for others with no restriction at all.

          But after both of them got hurt countless times, when each cut is deeper than ever. Somehow they had learn to build up walls around their precious hearts. No longer baring their hearts out to their love ones, they started to shut themselves down. But somewhere deep down, they held on to the tiniest hope of light, hoping someday it’ll be okay. That they’ll find the right ones, even when their hope have been shattered far too many times.

Will we ever say the words we're feeling

Will we ever have our happy ending?
Or will we forever only be pretending?
Will we always, always, always be pretending

          Fate led them to meet each other, both of them knew instantly what they’ve been through when they stared into each other’s eyes. Even though they got close to each other and fell in love, but somehow it still seems far away. There was a time when they gave up hoping and started to pretend. Even when they have feelings for each other, they pretended to not feel a thing.

They knew they were afraid of falling again, they’re afraid to be hurt once again, they’re afraid they won’t be able to find themselves back whole again. So they’ll always be pretending. Neither did they know both of them were wondering if they even get to find their happiness or will they have to keep pretending. To pretend that they way they were now was fine and that they’re happy about it, that they’re consent with everything going around.

“Will you hold me close.”

“Will you bring my pieces back together.”

“Or are you going to break them further apart.”

“Do we have to continue pretending.”

“To pretend we have no feelings for each other.”

“To pretend we don’t feel a thing.”

“To pretend we don’t want that embrace and that warmth.”

“Will we keep out secrets with us and keep pretending.”

“Or will we find our happy ending.”

Keeping secrets safe
Every move we make
Seems like no ones letting go
And it's such a shame
Cause if you feel the same
How am I supposed to know?

They’re hearts wondered the same thing and each day they questioned themselves. They wondered if they really did find the right person, because they were afraid if they get hurt once more they will fall apart. Both were afraid to take the first step. Without the first step, they will know nothing about what will happen.

So I knew I posted earlier before that I was working on a story and all. I did, but my Beta was busy and lazy at the same time. Heehee, so I never posted anything... So here's a song story, which I skipped through not letting my Beta to screen it through. So, yeaaaaa... it's not really good but there you go. A story. Haha.
